7.14.06   the WLT Audio-Blog is back online!

hey there kids, we know you wondered what happened to the Myspace.com based audio-blog it’s on random.

well, it got deleted by Rupert Murdoch, himself, for being way too fucking cool for its own good. and thats a fact, jack.

actually we don’t know why it was deleted, but the truth remains: you cant fake the funk, and you cant just shut us up that easily either.

so, Chris and Igor went ahead and created a new audio-blog located here. at the moment it contains a re-release of their Myspace postings but in a much cooler layout, because, well, they are now in total control - just the way they prefer it.

but soon they will get back into the groove, or lackthereof, and post some kick-ass fresh thoughts on the audio-tip for you to enjoy. so bookmark it, and keep your ears peeled for more hella-fun

7.11.06   The Buddha Lounge continues

on the slight chance that you are one of the, oh say, four people who didnt make it to The Buddha Lounge this past Saturday the 8th, you are entirely in luck.

The artwork by .wlt. All-Stars:

will be on display for a few more weeks, although the date they are coming down is actually a bit indefinite, and thats a very good thing.

and really, The Buddha is such a very cool place to go for a drink, you have little reason not to go and check out the new art as well. its like a match made in heaven.

check out this page for some photos taken that night…. keep in mind the empty looking ones were taken before we opened the doors, for real :)

CHOMP! by John Azoni features a recent series of works on paper entitled “CHOMP!!” showing jaw-like forms with big teeth devouring, or about to devour cute innocent things, or random items of culture such as fast food hamburgers or ice cream cones.

Alongside this series at the Museum of New Art (MONA) are other of Azoni’s works on paper, more reminiscent of his new paintings, which will be featured downstairs at the Michigan Institute for the Arts (MIA).

Azoni’s first solo show of large paintings entitled “Recent Paintings” is, as the name implies, paintings done within the last 6 months. A must see for anyone that enjoys Azoni’s more ambitious work.

The shows will open with an artists’ reception for both John Azoni and Stella Vine.
