I’m in a show at the Detroit Artists Market this friday at 7:00. There are roughly 100 artists participating so there will be a variety of artwork all priced under $200. DAM is located on the corner of Woodward and Forest ave. in Detroit. right by Wayne State and CCS.
So come on out if you’re free and enjoy the artwork.

11.30.05 get WLT updates direct thingy!

you may have noticed we’ve just added a little Live Feed button on the left side there

this is for all you hip kids (or, god forbid, hipsters) that use and abuse RSS/Atom live feeds in yr browers and web apps. ours is powered by FeedBurner which really just means that if you left-click the button it’ll take you to a constantly updating page of WLT news and events - it’s not too pretty (nor customizable by us), but its prettier than the raw XML page you’d normally get.

more recomended, and certainly more fun, is if you right-click the button and give it a little Copy-Link-Location action, you can paste it into an RSS reader acount (Thunderbird is our choice) and get WLT news and event updates sent right to yr email program….

you know it sounds sweet

anyway, that was the WLT version of a crash course in RSS setup.
very crash course, indeed.
but trust us, its not that hard once you try it.

11.20.05 New from Jeff Wolfe!!

WLT is proud to present a nice batch of new art by our hero, Jeff Wolfe.

Jeff’s newest work is Photomontage with gouache, acrylic and marker and has been inspired by traditional Photomontage as in the constructionist, dada, as well as contemporary magazine illustration.

11.10.05 Allison Glenn @ Brown Bean Cafe, thru Nov 31

Allison had an opening for her work that is up at the Brown Bean Cafe on November 5th.

Her work will be up until the end of the month and if you wanna check it out and show some love to a local (adorable) small business the address is 39 E. Adams Street (by comerica park).

There are a few other local artists with their work up also, so head on over and give em a look-see.
