Kate Paris
	Bio Kate is currently an undergrad student studying American Studies and Urban Studies. Like most other college kids she doesn't really know what her major is supposed to lead to but she is fine with that for now. While she is too chicken shit (or pompous) to actually study photo or fine arts full time she hopes her future will include cameras, darkroom chemicals, and long frustrating/rewarding hours spent in dim red light. For now she takes pictures for fun and for elective photo classes. The images on this page are old and new. Kate's photography is usually an attempt at meshing the principles of modern and postmodern. For example, she believes that art should be beautiful or at the very least it should create a feeling in the viewer, be it positive or negative. However, she also believes that if art doesn't mean anything, or evoke feelings, or make a statement, but it is beautiful, it isn't worth much. Things get much more complicated past that point and this is not the place for her rantings Anyway, please enjoy the views, contact her if you have any questions or comments, and go out and take your own photos.
